GYROTONIC
The Gyrotonic Method is an original and unique method of movement that addresses the whole person, opening energy pathways, stimulating the nervous system, increasing the range of motion and improving the strength and efficiency of the movement. The Gyrotonic Method is practiced in group or private classes under the instruction of a qualified Gyrotonic Trainer. With Gyrotonic exercises, each movement flows into the next, allowing the joints to move through a natural range of motion without shaking or compression. These carefully crafted sequences create balance, efficiency, strength and flexibility.
GYROKINESIS
It is inspired by and tends to give the same benefits as swimming, tai chi, yoga, dance, but in different ways. They call her "the mother" of the most famous GYROTONIC® method. Juliu Horvath first invented GYROKINESIS® which takes place in bodyweight and then developed the machines for
development of GYROTONIC®. “The essentials of body Kinetics” is the center of Horvath's methodology and corresponds to the basic exercises. The method works on the whole body and develops through the natural movements of the spine: forward, back, right, left, right twist, left twist and circular motion. I find that this three-dimensional movement is the real innovation: performing spiral exercises; visualizing the spine as a spiral staircase helps us to strengthen our back at a muscular level and at the same time to lengthen it keeping the discs well separated from each other.
